We know that the energy sector, and our business, has traditionally had a gender imbalance but we aspire to improve this. There’s a lot more to do but we’re making good progress.

We set ourselves a global goal for women to occupy at least half our senior leader roles and 40% at every other level of the company by 2030.
We firmly support our employee resource groups, including bpWIN (our Women’s International Network) and Men As Allies. All our groups are open to everyone at bp and they are invaluable in providing insights, connecting our employees and driving inclusion.
Externally we have several initiatives and partnerships, which aim to dispel misconceptions about careers in our industry and at bp.
